I was trying to update RADIUSdesk using svn on UBUNTU server 16.04. This took some time and then at a file it stalled. I cancel it by pressing ctrl+c and try to run it again but was giving this error message then <b>svn: E155037: Previous operation has not finished; run 'cleanup' if it was interrupted</b> To solve this error do the following<br /> 1. You can learn from my previous posts and my YouTube channel (Link below) more about MikroTik and other Servers.<br /> <br /> Things require for this tutorial<br /> <br /> <ol> <li>MikroTik router or PC install version with at least 3 Ethernet adaptors</li> <li>Laptop or a PC</li> <li>Ethernet Cables</li> <li>Internet connection </li> <li>Access point (Optional) </li> <li>and Hotspot login pages</li> </ol> Lets start with the setup<br /> <br /> <ol> <li> Login to your MikroTik router via Winbox</li> <li>Configure two hotspot on two separate ethernet ports</li> <li>Copy the two hotspot login folders to MikroTik (Give both folder a different name like <b>hotspot1, hotspot2</b>)</li> <li>Now goto <i>IP -> Hotspot </i></li> <li>Click on the <i>Server profile </i>and open the hotspot (hsprof1 etc) whose directory you want to change</li> <li> On next window of hotspot (hsprof1 etc) change the HTML Directory (hotspot1, hotspot 2 or whatever you have name it)</li> <li>Click OK</li> <li>Repeat step 5 to 7 for the next hotspot</li> <li>Now test your hotspots by directly connecting your PC or Laptop to MikroTik router port or through Access point. No internet Access or Limited is shown on your Windows Wifi or Lan machine or laptop. To solve this here are the hints or tips<br /> <br /> <ol> <li>First check your WiFi or Lan network Properties for any static IP. remove the static IP and select <i>Obtain IP address Automatically. </i>Then try to connect to your WiFi router.</li> <li>If Step 1 is done and you are obtaining IP from your WiFi router then Ping the gateway IP normally the Wifi router IP is gateway IP (192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254). The default login is <b>root</b> / <b>admin</b></li> <li>Click on <b>MESHdesk </b>on the left side menu. This will open up the Mesh page</li> <li>Click the + on Meshes tab. This will open + New Mesh dialog</li> <li>Select the Owner and Click Next</li> <li>Enter the Name for Mesh (<b>HomeTech</b> in my case) and Next</li> <li>Now Select the Mesh you have just Created (<b>HomeTech</b> in my case) and Click the Edit (Pencil icon). This will open up the Created Mesh in New tab</li> <li>On the Open Tab (<b>HomeTech</b> Tab in my case) the <b>Entry Point </b>tab is Selected. Click the + Button. It will open <b>+</b><b>New mesh entry point </b>dialog. Enter the Name of SSID (<b>AirNet WiFi </b>in my case) and click OK. This will create a AirNet WiFi with no security.</li> <li>Repeat Step 8. Enter Name of SSID (<b>HomeTech Hotspot </b>in my case) and OK</li> <li>Now Click on <b>Exit Point </b>tab and then on + This will open up <b>+ New mesh exit point. </b>Select the<b> Type </b>(<b>Ethernet Bridge </b>in my case) and Next</li> <li>On the Next page select <b>Connect with </b>from dropdown list (<b>AirNet WiFi </b>in my case) and OK</li> <li>Again Click the + on <b>Exit Point </b>op the <b>+ New mesh exit point </b>Select the <b>Type </b>(<b>Captive Portal </b>in my case) and Next.</li> <li>On the next page <b>Common Setting </b>select the <b>Connect with </b>from dropdown (<b>HomeTech Hotspot </b>in my case)<b>. </b>Select the <b>Login page</b> from dropdown</li> <li>Then click on <b>Captive Portal Settings </b> set the RADIUS Server 1 IP and <b>UAM URL </b>as IP of Your Server (<b>192.168.0.103 </b>in my case) rest leave the other thing as it is.</li> <li>Now Click on <b>Node Settings </b>tab Set your Country and TimeZone on the <b>System</b> and <b>Save.</b></li> <li>Now <b>Power up </b>your Router and wait to see it on the <b>Unknown Node </b>tab <b>MESHdesk</b></li> <li>Select the Node on <b>Unknown Node </b>tab and Click the Paperclip icon<b>. </b>This will open up the<b> Attach Node to mesh </b>dialog. MikroTik Router - Configure PPTP VPN Server and Windows VPN Client #5

PPTP Server (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol ) or VPN server (Virtual Private Network) is used by ISP, cable network operator to provide internet service to their subscriber as well as used by enterprise and small business to access their office network over the Internet. MikroTik routerOS has multiple services that can be configured for NAT, internet sharing and site to site tunneling. Welcome to my blog. This tutorial will show you the new look of freeRadius server web UI. We will see how to install the RADIUSdesk Updated version VM on VMWare workstation on windows 8.1 Pro. In this series we will discover different feature of the RADIUSdesk, Meshdesk as batman-adv WiFi mesh and more.
