Welcome to my new post. We will cover different uses as Hotspot billing server, as Hotspot, different plan and packages, link with MikroTik Hotspot and reporting in this tutorial series of DaloRADIUS.<br />
<br />
In this tutorial we have use DaloRadius as radius server with MikroTik Hotspot for authentication. We<span style="text-indent: -0.25in;"> have already configure MikroTik Hotspot with daloRADIUS as radius client and </span><span style="text-indent: -24px;">created MikroTik Hotspot users in DaloRADIUS </span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">in our previous tutorial. We will create and configure plans and bandwidth limit packages here.</span><br />

<b>DaloRADIUS Part</b><br />
<ol>
<li>Login to your DaloRADIUS server</li>
<li>Goto management -> profiles-> new profile</li>
<li>Enter  profile name</li>
<li>Select Vendor WISPr, then select attribute from dropdown list WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Down and click Add Attribute</li>
<li>Do the step 4 for Upload, Max all session, Max Monthly Session and other attributes of your choice</li>
<li>Fill the value for all added attribute</li>
<li>click apply</li>
</ol>
Now test the plans by creating user and then login from your MikroTik hotspot on your mobile or windows PC.<br />

In this tutorial we will use DaloRadius as radius server with MikroTik Hotspot for authentication. we<span style="text-indent: -0.25in;"> have already configure MikroTik Hotspot to be authenticated with daloRADIUS in our previous tutorial. <li>Login to your DaloRADIUS server</li>
<li>Goto management -> users -> new user</li>
<li>enter username, password and select group from drop down list</li>
<li>Leave the other information blank (Optional)</li>
<li>click add</li>
</ol>
Alternatively<br />

<li>Goto management -> users -> new user - quick add</li>
<li>Enter username, password and select group</li>
<li>click add</li>
</ol>

Now test the user by login from your MikroTik hotspot<br />

So lets get to work.<br />
I assume that you have already followed my previous post of DaloRAIUS.<br />
<br />
<b>MikroTik Part</b><br />

</span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Open your MikroTik using winbox</span><br />
<span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">b.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-stretch: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; line-height: normal; text-indent: -0.25in;">     
</span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Click on Radius-> incoming and enable
“Accept” and then click OK</span><br />
<span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">c.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-stretch: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; line-height: normal; text-indent: -0.25in;">      
</span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Now in the Radius window click on + sign, this
will open up New Radius Server window</span><br />

</span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Enable hotspot and enter the IP address of YOUR DaloRADIUS (192.168.1.13 in my case) and Secret (123 in my case) then click OK</span><br />

</span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Click on “</span><b style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Server
Profile</b><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">” tab and then double click “</span><b style="text-indent: -0.25in;">hsprof#</b><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">”
some thing like that which will open up the </span><b style="text-indent: -0.25in;">hotspot
server profile</b><br />
<span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">g.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-stretch: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; line-height: normal; text-indent: -0.25in;">      
</span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Now click on </span><b style="text-indent: -0.25in;">RADIUS</b><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;"> tab and enable “</span><b style="text-indent: -0.25in;">Use
RADIUS</b><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">” and click OK</span><br />
<span style="text-indent: -0.25in;">h.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-stretch: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; line-height: normal; text-indent: -0.25in;">

Now it turn of DaloRADIUS config<br />
The default DaloRADIUS login of web interface are<br />
administrator / radius<br />
<b>DaloRADIUS Part</b><br />
<ol>
<li>Login to your DaloRADIUS server via web browser by enter Your-DaloRADIUS-IP/daloradius</li>
<li>Goto management -> nas -> new nas</li>
<li>Enter the nas ip/host 0.0.0.0/0</li>
<li>Give a Name</li>
<li>Nas type other</li>
<li>Nas secret (pass-nas in my this tutorial. you give any thing as per your wish)</li>
<li>save</li>
</ol>
Now test your config<br />

Although the direct nas client IP/ shared secret should work but here its not working, so I used global config to get it work.<br />

We will cover different uses as Hotspot billing server, as Hotspot, different plan and packages, link with MikroTik Hotspot and reporting.<br />
So lets get to work.<br />
I assume that<br />
1. You have VMware Workstation already installed on your System.<br />
2. Downloaded the DaloRADIUS virtual appliance (ova file) from sourceforge.net.<br />
3. Imported the ova / ovf file it in Vmware<br />
4. Made the minor adjustments<br />

Here I will show the usage of RADIUSdesk as hotspot. The RADIUSdesk come equipped with Coova chilli hotspot installed. I will try it with windows XP VM. Then I will show you how to use it with MikroTik Hotspot and Radius Client where the hotspot will be authenticated from RADIUSdesk. I assume you have already followed my previous tutorial and have the Know how of MikroTik as well. So lets get to work :)<br />
<div>
<br />
<u><b>MikroTik Part</b></u><br />
<ol>
<li>Open your MikroTik using winbox</li>
<li>Click on <b>Radius->incomming</b> and enable “<b>Accept</b>” and then click OK</li>
<li>Now in the <b>Radius</b> window click on <b>+</b> sign, this will open up <b>New Radius Server </b>window</li>
<li>Enable <b>hotspot </b>and enter the IP address of YOUR RADIUSdesk (192.168.1.13 in my case) and Secret (123 in my case) then click OK</li>
<li>Now goto IP->Hotspot this will open up the hotspot window</li>
<li>Click on “Server Profile” tab and then double click “hsprof#” some like that which will open up the hotspot server profile</li>
<li>Now click on RADIUS tab and enable “Use RADIUS” and click OK</li>
<li>That’s it with MikroTik Part</li>
</ol>
<b><u>RADIUSdesk Part</u></b><br />
<ol>
<li>Open your RADIUSdesk in browser using YOUR_IP/rd (192.168.1.13/rd ) in my case</li>
<li>Click on Menu->NAS Devices->NAS Devices, this will open up the NAS Devices window</li>
<li>Click on + sign and it will open up “Add NAS device” window</li>
<li>Select the Owner and click Next</li>
<li>You will see “Connection Type” on next screen with Direct (Fixed IP) already  selected so click Next </li>
<li>On the next screen Enter the IP Address, Name and Secret (192.168.1.14, MikroTik and 123) in my case and Click Next. Here note that both RADIUSdesk and MikroTik are same LAN or They must have a public IP</li>
<li>On the next screen select the Realms  you want connect with  also there is option of “Make available to sub-providers” and “Make available to any Realms”. So do study and test and trail it what you are doing or want to do. Click Next </li>
<li>Now Select the created NAS device and click Edit</li>
<li>This will open up the detail to edit, click on “Optional info”  enter the NAS-identifier value as MikroTik (same as identity of MikroTik), select type as “MikroTik”</li>
<li>Now Click Monitor Settings and select Monitor method as “Ping”</li>
<li>on Enhancements you can set additional setting if you feel but not necessary</li>
<li>Click save and we are done now create a test user/voucher and test it</li>
</ol>
