Airlink 1.0.1 is based on miniHotspot which has multiple feature in the same box. It is Coova Chilli hotspot with FreeRadius server web interface and Squid proxy. The software also provide self care user portal where they can register and recharge the internet package of their choice. RADIUSdesk VM Coova Hotspot Testing on Windows XP #2

<br /> Here we will learn the usage of RADIUSdesk as hotspot. The RADIUSdesk come equipped with Coova chilli hotspot installed. The Coova Captive portal/ hotspot run on LAN port of the RADIUSdesk. We will try it with Microsoft Windows XP VM on VMWare Workstation. The User when browse will be redirected to Coova Captive portal for login. I assume you have already followed my previous tutorial and have the Know how of MikroTik as well. So lets get to work :)<br /> <br /> <ol> <li>Connect the Windows XP VM to RADIUSdesk server LAN port </li> <li>You will get an IP of 10.x.x.x which means you are connected to Coova captive portal </li> <li>Now open your favorite browser and browse any website. <b>Note: some time you are not redirected to login page while you browse https:// site. So try a non https:// site to get the login page.</b> </li> <li>Login with username / password we created in last video </li> <li>That’s it.
